About

About Logosnet

An independent, non-commercial reference on vocational education and training, written for students, practitioners and anyone following skills policy.

What we do

We explain international skills standards in plain language, compare national apprenticeship systems and publish open indicators on youth employment. Every page names its sources and the date of the data.

The site is not an ILO publication and has no affiliation with the International Labour Organization, the World Bank or UNESCO. Summaries are in our own words, quotations are short and credited, and every standard is linked to its official text on NORMLEX.

Sources and updates

Statistics are fetched from the open World Bank API when the site is built, and the snapshot is stored with the site, so the numbers always match the stated retrieval date.

Photographs come from Wikimedia Commons under public domain or Creative Commons terms; the author and licence are shown under each picture. See the data page for methods and the privacy notice for how the site handles visitors.

Old addresses

The domain logosnet.net has existed since the 1990s. Today it carries only this reference. Web addresses under /ilo/150_base/ and /ilo/195_base/, which scholarly articles still cite, lead to the R150 and R195 pages.
